Cards Against Isolation

During the month of August

Letters Against Isolation was a joint service project with the Pearl Harbor Kiwanis Club and our Waipahu Key Club. What a great way of sending ALOHA to elders in isolation! We have decided to continue this project and send them to our kupuna in Hawaii.

Hearts for Kupuna

August 22, 2020

What do 2500+ origami hearts look like? This is a joint project by the Pearl City Key Club and the Pearl Harbor Kiwanis. It extended beyond our immediate ohana into the Tenrikyo Church and into McKinley High School. The McKinley Leo Club assisted in the effort too! Everyone had fun making these hearts. They will be covered on one side with fabric and then given to kupuna in care homes!
