“Joining and staying in this club helped me to develop character and leadership skills by connecting with students for other schools and working with faculty and Kiwanis advisors. I learned to serve my home, school, and community through volunteering. This club gave me an opportunity to grow as a person … Volunteering does not take a lot to do, but a lot comes out of it.”

“The Max Templeman Memorial Scholarship has helped a lot with relieving financial worries about school. Prior to entering college, I did not realize how expensive certain things would be such as books and other student fees. However, with the scholarship money that I have received, I don’t have to pay as much as other students would. In fact, my first year is all free, thanks to the scholarship.”
