The 98th Cal-Nev-Ha District was held in Kailua-Kona. We were blessed that Hurricane Hector turned away from the island and Kilauea was relatively quiet. The sunsets were gorgeous. The workshops were exceptional. Thank you Neil for presenting Hawaii Aloha to the District.

Guest Speaker: Eric Meurer-Eichberg who is part of the Kiwanis Club of Cologne
The Kiwanis Club of Pearl Harbor welcomed Eric Meurer-Eichberg from the Kiwanis Club of Cologne. Eric will serve as the 2018-19 Vice Governor for Germany. He talked about the challenges and rewards of being a Kiwanian in Europe. He will be at the CNH District Convention in Kona!

Our monthy USS Missouri Workday project involved more than Pearl Harbor Kiwanians and Waipahu Key Clubbers. We were joined by German Kiwanians Eric Meurer-Eichberg, wife Ellen and son Felix. Eric will serve as the Vice Governor of the Germany Kiwanis International District (2018/19) and the President of the Kiwanis Club of Cologne (2018/19).

PCHS Key Club held a mini OTC at the school. It was a full day of leadership training along with team building activities and a campus clean up service project. Thank you Mr. Bay for putting this together! We even found some cool caterpillars.
July 14, 2018 @Kailua High School
The monthly Komohana DCM was held at Kailua High School. The service project was painting the stripes in the parking lot. Fortunately, the "chance of rain" never materialized. Everyone helped with the project ... even VP Brett Matsukawa! Job well done, Komohana!
