Komohana DCM

December 9, 2017

As part of Komohana DCM, LTG Keith asked the Key Clubs to make 1,000 origami cranes for Cranes for Childhood Cancer. Origami cranes symbolize hope. It is said that for every 1,000 origami cranes created a wish will come true. Waipahu Key Clubbers gingerly folding cranes. A variety of cranes made by Pearl City Key Club. Some cranes were even made using sheet music!

Installation Meeting

November 19, 2017

Pearl Harbor held their annual installation banquet and hosted the Division 22 LTG Official Visit. LTG Roy Kagawa installed our 2017-18 Officers and Directors. Ruby was given a big sausage for being our Webmaster and Year-In-Review producer. Komohana LTG Keith was given a Key Club bell, gavel and honu balloon. We had a great time with Alaka`i, East Hawaii (LTG Roy), Executive, Honolulu, Kahului (Trustee John), and Kaneohe.

November 11, 2017 @Kailua High School

Komohana DCM was held at Kailua High School and hosted by the newly created Kailua Key Club! The Key Clubbers decorated Turkey "Rolls" to brighten this Thanksgiving season for Project Dana recipients. LTG Keith was honored with L-T-G balloons, cake and expressions of appreciation for her dedication to Key Club.

Take Over Meeting

November 7, 2017

Key Club Take Over Meeting. The Key Clubs of Aiea, Leilehua, Mililani, Pearl City, and Waipahu "took over" our meeting. The theme was "Service is service, no matter how small." Sharol Begonia from The Salvation Army/Kroc Center kicked off the 2017 Angel Tree Project (Nov 24-Dec 16) at Pearlridge, Uptown, 2nd Floor. Joel Tabangcura from AYP and former Farrington Key Club Advisor Tracie Harada Palmer joined us.

2017 Discovery Fair and Weed and Seed Safe Communities at Leeward Community College. Pearl City Key Club worked with the YMCA of Honolulu to provide a popular make-and-take craft activity for the keiki.
