We held our general meeting "in the dark" while parts of Aiea experienced a blackout. However, that did not faze our guest speaker - Jodie Sanada - who is passionate about her career as a nurse. Our engineer Kathryn put up makeshift laterns to illuminate the room while Pres Judy grabbed emergency flashlights from her car. As Jodie neared the end of her presentation, she said that we needed to "raise the bar" on children's health ... and voila ... the lights came ON! Thank you Aiea Key Club for hosting us at the school's library. Thank you Ronnette, Jaz, Susan and Melanie for assisting us.
