Komohana held their in-person June DCM at the beautiful Hoomaluhia Botanical Gardens. The agenda included a makeup contest. Most Terrifying — Jacob, Most Representing Spirit of Youth and Kids — Claire, Most Representation of the Animation —Sarah, Most representing the theme of Bountiful Beautiful Barbie — Carly.

General Meeting & DSA Presentation

The Kiwanis Club of Pearl Harbor presented a Distinguished Service Award (DSA) to our Leilehua Faculty Advisor and Kiwanian - Amber Nakamura. Thank you Amber for your 12 years of service to our Sponsored Leadership Program (SLP). Amber's two graduating seniors - Samantha and Blaze - were also there to congratulate her. Harmony, Past Div 22 Key Club LTG was there too with son Daniel. We were additionally blessed with a visit by Eric Meurer-Eichberg, Lt. Governor Division 11 (Rhein-Eifel) Distrikt Deutschland.

Annual Meeting & Presentation of Max Templeman Memorial Scholarship

The Pearl Harbor Kiwanis held their annual meeting. Our current officers and directors have agreed to serve another year! We presented the 2022 Max Templeman Memorial Scholarship to outstanding LHS Key Club President Samantha. Current Komohana LTG Carly, IP Komohana LTG Christian, 2021 Distinguished LTG Award recipient Hollie, and 2020 Max Templeman Memorial Scholarship recipient Princess joined our meeting. Ace and Carol (off camera) joined us virtually and Judy arrived at the 11th hour!

USS Missouri Service Project

March 26, 2022

The Pearl City Key Club joined our monthly USS Missouri workday. We completed teak bookmarks. They were given a tour of the Mighty Mo and treated to ice cream!
