October 13, 2018 @Pearl City High School

Pearl City Key Club hosted the October Komohana DCM at the Pearl City Cultural Center. The on-campus service project included painting curbs and groundskeeping. Thank you Damien, Kailua, Mililani, and Pearl City Key Clubs.

Children & Youth Day

October 7, 2018 @Hawaii State Capitol

The 25th Anniversary of the Children & Youth Day was held Sunday at the State Capitol and surrounding areas. It was a HOT and HUMID day with lots of fun activities for Hawaii's ohana. The Kiwanis Clubs on Oahu and their SLP were on hand to help with rides and craft booths. Pearl Harbor partnered with the YMCA of Honolulu and taught keiki to make kites. Kaneohe was in charge of all K-Family volunteers. Honolulu was in charge of volunteer hospitality! Alakai "guarded" the elevators within the Capitol's rotunda.

General Meeting

October 2, 2018

Judy presided over her first general meeting of the new Kiwanis administrative year 2018-19. Past LTG Carol inducted new member Tad (sponsored by Judy). We collected donations of school supplies and rubber slippers for our Kiwanis 4 Kids project. Thank you for a great start to the new Kiwanis year.

Celebrate Safe Communities

September 29, 2018 @Pearlridge Cente

The Kiwanis Club of Pearl Harbor and the Pearl City Key Club partnered with the YMCA of Honolulu at the Safe Communities event at Pearlridge Shopping Center from 10am - 4pm. We helped with a "fortune teller" make-and-take activity that provided education on sugar and salt. Secretary Shayla was on the KFVE news last night!r

USS Missouri Service Project

The Aiea Key Club joined us on our monthly USS Missouri Workday. We were tasked with making teak bookmarks and sweeping the decks! Great turnout and great job everyone!
